Founded in 2016, Bondi2Berry is the premier cycling event of the Dementia Research Community, raising awareness of dementia and fundraising to help find a cure. Over $1.7m has been raised to date with all fundraising going to research.
Bondi2Berry is 155km in distance, and elevation of 1,700m. Riders start from the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club, riding out of the Eastern Suburbs and travelling through parts of the Royal National Park to Wollongong, Kiama and finishing in Berry on the NSW south coast.

My Story

Six years ago I lost my father to Alzheimer’s disease who lived with it for 20 years, and unfortunately, just Five years ago my eldest sister was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Clearly, wiping out dementia is a cause that’s very close to my heart and, given 152 million people worldwide will be diagnosed with dementia by the middle of the century, I’m guessing you may have also be impacted by it
