Founded in 2016, the ride to remember raises awareness of dementia and fundraising to help find a cure. Over $1.7m has been raised to date with all fundraising going to research.
The Bondi2Byron Ride to Remember, a 7 day cycle over 1,000kms to help raise awareness of dementia. All funds raised will go to fund vital research projects to help find a cure for dementia.

My Story
I have signed up to do the Bondi2Byron Ride to Remember, a 7 day cycle over 1,000kms from 8-14 March 2025 to help raise awareness of dementia and to fund vital research projects for a cure. As part of the journey I will also ride 155km to Berry on 16 November 2024.
My dad was diagnosed with dementia in 2021 and is now living in residential care. He no longer recognises his family and is losing his ability to speak and care for himself. It breaks my heart and I want to do something about it to make a difference in the future.

I’ve been busy this week training, climbing 4 mountains in Bright Victoria. Tawonga Gap, Falls Creek, Mount Buffalo & the biggest of them all Mount Hotham. I will be stronger for it 7 weeks to go until our ride to Byron Bay.

Yesterday I rode 175kms to Berry as part of the journey. It was a top ride. Thanks to everyone who has supported me. The training continues to ride to Byron Bay in March.

Super fast lap training at Centennial Park on Friday is all part of the plan to get us fit to ride to Byron. My daughter was there providing her support.
